I transited through terminal 3 from flt. AI 2333 BKK Then onto Flt. AI 2017 for LHR
I lost a small bag in the transit lounge with valuable items within. The Lost Property Office informed me that they believed they had the lost bag. It is small, 20cm x 15cm but has 3 pairs of prescription glasses and 3 watches. Also there is a bracelet with massive sentimental value that I have had for 50 years.
I was very pleased to find my bag to have been passed to the department.
Since that time, in early February 2026, I have sent several emails with photos of some of my possessions in the bag and my ID and flight tickets. Also more enquiries about collection by a third party and the authorisation required.
I have had ZERO!!!!!!! response in any way whatsoever from the Lost Property! I phoned direct to them several times from UK and the phone was quickly hung up. Very upsetting for me as an older person aged 75 years.
I have also found a wonderful lady in a shop near me from Delhi who phone from the UK for me. After a short while talking your language, even they were cut off on the phone, how very foul!! A very disgusting and disappointing experience for us both indeed!
I am now at a loss as to what I can do about my things trapped in the airport where no one at all has the good manners to help me in any way, IN THE LEAST!!
